Breakfast at Melba’s was over and we were making our way back to our room when I couldn’t help but notice the staff beginning to set up for an absolutely epic Mother’s Day high tea. Forget your traditional two or three-tiered serving tray, how about a metre tall Eiffel Tower stacked full of chocolatey, sugary, flowery cakes, pastries and other sweet treats?!

It was almost enough for Karen to wish she had a couple of kidlets hanging off her skirts!

Early days for the Eiffel Tower. The table very quickly filled up with a whole heap of additional pastries!
